Although it’s always exciting to leave home for a little while and take in some well-deserved r&r, we all know that packing can be a nightmare. Smart packing is an art, and the key to an easy vacation is not throwing together random pieces of clothing in a suitcase at the last minute (something I am very guilty of doing.) Below are some items that will help you have a well-packed and well-planned trip.
- Easy Breezy Sandals: while sneakers may seem like an easy pick for planes and walking around, they tend to get dusty really quick. It’s easy enough to buy a pair of cute sandals that are light enough where they won’t take up too much space in your bag, but can be paired with many outfits.
- Simple jewelry: I’ve had many jewelry pieces get discolored due to the persistent heat. With that in mind, I refrain from bringing chunky fashionable items and take simple, quality jewelry that will look great with everything.
- Exfoliating face wash: After a long day of being out and about in the heat, an exfoliating face wash is important because it will cleanse your skin, leaving you radiant and clean. I personally really like the Shisheido Ibuki gentle cleanser, but whatever cleanser you do pick, see if you can find travel bottles.
- Quality sunscreen: On the note of skincare, sunscreen is important! Like I wrote in a previous post, , ALL of us are at risk for skin cancer. Invest in a good sunscreen to protect you from the rays.
- Sunglasses: A classic pair of shades is a necessity for sunny destinations. Find glasses that are functional and give good coverage. Glasses are easy to personalize and find something you love.
